The Bartender at The Cocktail Hour delivers a polished, high-energy beverage experience in a high-volume hospitality environment. This role requires strong cocktail knowledge, attention to detail, speed, consistency, and the ability to maintain exceptional service standards throughout a busy shift.

The Cocktail Hour operates a rotating cocktail program built around five distinct seasonal menus throughout the year, alongside rotating guest bartenders and beverage professionals. Bartenders are expected to stay engaged with the evolving program, quickly learn new cocktails and techniques, and consistently execute each menu to the highest standard.

• Execute cocktails and beverages with precision, consistency, and attention to presentation.
• Learn, develop familiarity with, and confidently execute each of the five seasonal cocktail menus.
• Maintain strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, ingredients, preparation methods, and menu specifications.
• Provide efficient, polished service in a high-volume environment.
• Support and collaborate with rotating guest bartenders, helping them integrate into service and maintain smooth bar operations.
• Assist guest bartenders with bar setup, menu execution, product knowledge, service flow, and venue standards as needed.
• Represent The Cocktail Hour professionally while working alongside visiting bartenders and industry professionals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout service.
• Prepare garnishes, syrups, juices, and other cocktail components according to established standards.
• Communicate effectively with servers, barbacks, managers, guest bartenders, and the kitchen.
• Provide knowledgeable, attentive, and professional hospitality to every guest.
• Follow all responsible alcohol service, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Accurately process orders and maintain proper POS and cash-handling procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including bar setup, breakdown, cleaning, and restocking.

The ideal bartender is confident, composed, personable, and highly detail-oriented. They thrive in a fast-paced environment and understand that high-volume service should never come at the expense of hospitality or quality.

Candidates should have:

• Previous bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant, cocktail bar, or upscale hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
• The ability to quickly learn and execute evolving seasonal menus.
• Excellent speed, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• A polished, professional presence.
• A genuine interest in cocktails, hospitality, and the beverage industry.
• The ability to work effectively alongside rotating guest bartenders and industry professionals.
• Full-time availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
