We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.POSITION SUMMARY:The Events Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Events Managers and planning and executing all aspects of various events. This position is responsible for establishing relationships with all event holders and to provide top-notch service and event management.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:Assist with planning and execution of events and programs at the venueProvide supervision, serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) and be available to work non-traditional hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays)Create, track, and update various reportsSubmit weekly billing for event/rental activityProvide support to the managers and the administrative team with phone support, creating correspondences, and providing backup supportManage ongoing facility schedule for local programs Generate event proposals and contractsCoordinate staffing for various eventsSuccessfully manage and execute events in a fast-paced environmentTrack and report maintenance and cleaning issuesMaintain clean and organized facilitiesPerform additional duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including weekends, nights, and holidaysAbility to work productively with a wide variety of ages Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenMust have excellent guest service skillsAbility to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environmentMust be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skillsPrior experience supervising part-time staff (preferred)Ability to multi-task and prioritizeAbility to remain calm and focused in demanding and challenging situationsCommitment to the safety and well-being of othersMust be 18 years of age or olderWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to lift 50 pounds waist highMay be required to sit or stand for extended periods of timeWill be required to operate a computerFacility has intermittent noiseMust be able to work in an environment with varying temperatures
