job summary:
A Manufacturing Engineer is needed for a renowned organization. The Manufacturing Engineer will focus on researching, developing, and implementing innovative manufacturing processes, tools, and technologies. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence and reduce Cost Per Unit (CPU) through cross-functional collaboration.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, electrical, or a related engineering discipline. A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in equipment planning, technical specifications, and production preparation is required. Proficiency in AutoCAD and standard Microsoft Office applications, combined with strong self-direction and teamwork, is essential. This is a long-term contract role, and our client is only seeking local talent currently.

responsibilities:
· Research and implement new assembly technologies and processes to optimize plant performance
· Support site teams and planning groups in operational excellence initiatives across vehicle assembly
· Collaborate with internal and external partners to achieve enterprise-wide Cost Per Unit (CPU) reductions
· Support capital equipment preparation, technical specification development, procurement, and installation
· Apply practical knowledge of production equipment, tooling, and manufacturing workflows to resolve operational challenges
qualifications:
-Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD,
-General working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor, Vault, CATIA, XVL.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
